Why I chose to make this costume:
Sky asked me to compete with them for Anime Banzai! And Crownguard Cosplay and friends wanted to get a Film RED cosplay group together when the movie debuted in theaters in the US!
How I made this costume:
Oh boy oh boy
The pirate fit is handmade baby, except for one of the belts and the shoes!!
The casual fit was a lot less handmade because I didn’t anticipate competing in it when I originally made it – which I explained to the judges!! I did draw the t-shirt design and have it printed, and you can get it in my shop!!
All other 3d models from this cosplay will be available soon in my shop as well!
Thoughts on this costume:
I’m still stunned that Sky and I got Best in Show with these cosplays and our performance! It’s truly an honor 💖
